Mind Road Trip;

It's one of those nights, where we're waiting on a blizzard.. my honey is fast asleep, along with our cats, and all I can do is sit here and think. I can't even concentrate on my show I'm trying to catch up on. There is just so much going on, and so much to do that I can't even get started on and THAT is making it all worse. I'm a huge List-er. I make lists of everything and I've been on a listing roll all day, I spent most of the day doing to-do lists, the grocery list, and next month's budget. Sometimes I feel like I'm constantly making lists in my head. I mean I just made a list of the lists I've made today. I just can't stop! But this next month is going to be super exciting for me once this snow will clear.
Last week I sold my cousin my car, because it'd be too much to get it sent up here to me. So now I'm waiting on my check to get here so I can get a car or a truck, I have two waiting to be test driven as soon as the icky weather clears! Friday I'm getting my very first perm! I'm so excited! And the first we're getting our new fridge. We've got to get one of our cats fixed sometime this month. I'm painting the living room. I'm doing a full top to bottom cleaning of the house.. ah. So much more. All this is circling (in list form, of course!) in my head.
I keep thinking about it all. And then there is the list that I think about 24/7; My family, are they doing okay.. how are they. My best friend, when will I get to see her again. My future, when will it truly start. Motherhood, I see so many friends on Facebook with their babies and I just wonder when my time will come. I took a test today because I've been tired a lot and nauseated. Negative, again. A million things rush in my head like, am I even able to get pregnant? Yadda yadda.
I found something on the internet with a TON of great reviews, conceive easy. The first month is free, all we'd have to do is pay shipping. It's all natural and it's to help hormonal levels get fixed. We've been talking about trying that out. If any of you have tried it/know someone who has, please feel free to send me an e-mail or leave a comment below with your review of it!

I think that's all for right now. I feel some type of calming in my head now.

Rambling over,

Here Comes the Boom. (Movie review)

If you haven't heard of Here Comes the Boom, maybe you will now. My honey and I rented it  about a week ago for movie night with some friends, and I just now got the time to catch up on all my blogging. If you're looking for a good heart-felt comedy this is it! It will appeal to men and women. With Kevin James, Salma Hayek, and Henry Winkler as the main characters and Mark DellaGrotte in the supporting role this movie was a huge hit with all of us. I don't want to give out spoilers, but if you've seen the previews you should know this by now..

A high school biology teacher looks to become a successful mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to prevent extra-curricular activities from being axed at his cash-strapped school.

Wonderful story line and great acting!
I most definitely give this move 5 stars

Watch the official trailer here!

That's all I have for today, more to come though!

Fire & Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
Robert Frost
Most people know this from 'Twilight', but this has been one of my favorite poems for quite sometime. I haven't posted in a while because nothing too exciting has happened. The Walking Dead came back on last night, and for all you fans out there.. it was a slow one, but I'm so sad that Daryl went off with his brother, although the preview for next week looks like things will be changing! I sure hope so. But for all you Walkerfans out there reading this, who is YOUR favorite character (dead or alive)? Mine is Glen, my second is Daryl. Comment below with your favorite, or maybe start a discussion of what you think will happen or even what you think about what has already happened/deaths.

Night before last I made Cheesy Chicken Lasagna & Parmesan Knots that were to DIE for! All my boys (my boyfriend Tracy, his best friend Austin, and his other friend Jared) devoured it, and we had enough for left overs for Tracy and I the next day.. which was surprisingly just as good as the day before.
If you'd like to try it out for yourself;
Cheesy Chicken Lasagna  & Knots, great for ANY meal!

Enjoy! <3

Freebie Review #2

I  f i n a l l y  remembered to take my free sample of shampoo and conditioner with me to the shower, refer to 'I'm still alive' blog. Welp for long hair a sample ISN'T the way to go, but I done half of my hair. And the half I done is super shiny and smooth. It smells awesome and I would definitely recommend it. :D

Free 'Know' bracelet!

I got a new freebie in the mail today, it's my Kotex Generation Know bracelet. And I absolutely LOVE it. It only took about 2-3 weeks to get here. Order yours here, for FREE!

It has the double knot pull, that tightens and loosens it. Multi-colored rope string and an I know charm. If you have a young daughter who has just experienced mother nature, or need a way to bring up "the talk" this would make for a very creative way to get the message out and have a little gift also!

I'm still alive..

I haven't posted in a few days because I've been cleaning and getting the house ready for the Superbowl party tonight, cooking for 8-10 men, phew. I got a new freebie in the mail today! Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner (the NEW Triple Nutrition!!!!!) It's for dry & damaged hair, which I have thanks to constantly dying my hair. Although I haven't tried it yet, I will try it and do a review on it tomorrow. I thought I'd also share what I was cooking for tonight with recipes.

Pizza Balls; A touchdown with the men (and kiddos)!
I'm asked to make these at LEAST twice a month, sometimes more! These are very easy, take little time and vanish in seconds!

Preheat oven to 450, although I am pretty sure I've been doing 350.

Parmesan (the sprinkle kind)
Italian Seasoning
Garlic Powder
Butter
1 jar of pizza sauce
3 cans Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits (10 per can)56 pepperoni slicesblock of Colby cheese (cut in 28 squares, I normally buy 2 blocks)
Flatten the biscuit, put one pepperoni, one block of cheese, another pepperoni on top and you wrap the biscuit up. Line up the rolls in a greased 9x13 in. pan, or a cookie sheet. Bake for 18-20 mins.
^Not my picture, one I saved when I first made them.^
Credits go to The Gunny Sack!!
The recipe that I found called for egg, I tried it with the egg rub.. but I didn't like it. So I tweeked it a tad to make it my own!
While the balls are baking, melt a nice blob of butter in the microwave. Mix in Italian seasoning and garlic powder. As soon as the balls come out of the oven, dip them in the butter mixture and lay them either on a serving plate or back on the pan/sheet. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Warm up sauce, dip and enjoy!
Leave comments below if you try this and let me know how it turned out for you!!

I am also making Rotel dip, which is probably the MOST simple and MOST liked dip for my men. (I just learned how to make it.)

Rotel Dip; Simple, yet amazing.
A crockpot dip.

1 can of rotel tomatoes, I use mild.
1 block of Velveeta
1 lb hamburger meat.

Brown hamburger meat, put in crockpot.
Melt Velveeta in a pot, add to crockpot.
Add rotel dip to crockpot.
Stir.
Cook on smedium (small or medium, depends on the crockpot you're using).
Add about a lid or 2 of milk if TOO thick.

But that's what's happening in my kitchen! Leave a comment below or email me if you would like for me to try another recipe?! I'm all about learning new ones! But hope you have a great and blessed day, and enjoy the Superbowl!

Let's go RAVENS!
